I just wanted to give you my thoughts on the ECW PPV. Plain and simple in two words: IT SUCKED.
I consider myself a fan of WWECW, but I am a die hard old-school ECW fan (and a HUGE CM Punk fan) and I love ROH and TNA. I spent the night watching this show, just waiting and hoping for it to get better, and it never did. I liked the opening tag match with the Hardy's. That was the only bright spot on this dismal thing WWE called a "card". They bait and switch Sabu in the chamber and we get: Drum Roll......Hardcore Holly. wow what a replacement.
Then we get treated to a Striker match. I like his work, but this match was nothing special. Don't get me started on the other 2 waste of space that WWE called "Tag matches."
The only good thing about the Dreamer/Davari match was the insane bump Dreamer took on the stage. How a guy can bust his ass for a company that couldn't care less about him? This shows a lot about Dreamer's passion for the business.
Now onto possibly the biggest disappointment in WWE history. The "Extreme Elimination Chamber" ok, so I knew given Big Show's back he was going to loose the belt, and I have no problem with Lashley winning it because the guy is a freaking powerhouse. But how can a company burry their top 2 baby faces (not to mention the fastest rising star in the business today) in CM Punk and RVD? To push and push and push Punk for months, only to eliminate him first (after he was in the match for only 7 or so minutes) was like a slap in every WWECW and especially CM Punk fans faces. Way to bury arguably your top star in minutes, when just a week before he was getting a louder pop then DX at Survivor Series. Then they eliminate not just Punk, but Holly AND RVD in a matter of 2 minutes. Then Lashley destroys Test in another 2 minutes, and we're down to 2 guys, and the match isn't even 20 minutes old.
What a waste of time and talent. This match could have been really good, and even as far as great, but WWE creative just wouldn't let it happen. The only bright spot in this chamber was the brief, and I mean BRIEF series between Punk and RVD. These two will have one hell of a match if WWE lets them go at it full out.
Knowing WWE creative though, we'll probably get RVD vs. Punk on an episode of ECW on SciFi in which they will get a rushed 5 minutes of time to work. I am very upset and feel like I wasted my time and money on this event. I hope for guys like CM Punk and RVD that they don't get buried anymore than they already have but I'm not holding my breath. As for anyone who was considering buying the replay of this PPV: SAVE YOUR MONEY. Buy the best of CM Punk DVD from Ring of Honor instead. You'll be a lot happier I assure you.

Only one thing can be said the art of professional wrestling is officially dead and without the help of some new brains or writers or writers period as apparently ECW doesn't need a story. Wrestling is dead! long live real sports.

Hey. It's my first time writing to your website. Just wanted to say I thought December to Dismember wasn't bad, but was way too short. I thought I'd send a copy of the letter I wrote to WWE to your site describing my disappoint with the length of the show only being two hours and 18 minutes.
I just got done watching the ECW December to Dismember pay per view and was extremely disappointed with the length of the event. I have ordered every pay per view event since late 1999 and I have never been more upset over the length of a show as I was tonight. Usually I get mad when a pay per view only goes two hours and 40 minutes, but I've come to accept that as the norm lately. But tonight's two hours and 18 minute event is inexcusable. I've been a loyal fan my entire life, but to expect me or any other true fan to continue paying $40 a pay per view when the shows are that short is absurd. When I buy a pay per view event I expect the top matches and to get my moneys worth, not a show the length of Raw that only had two advertised matches. I would love to continue viewing WWE pay per view events in the future, however if I ever have to be this disappointed again with the length of a show I had to pay $40 for I might have to reconsider purchasing future events. Please try to book future pay per view events for as close to the three hours advertised as possible. I thought this wasn't boxing.

The worst show of the year by far! Around the time of the fall of WCW & ECW and the invasion I ordered every PPV. I have cut back to just the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and One Night Stand. But I thought I would order this one and support ECW. This show was so bad, I won't order another ECW pay-per-view & I won't watch ECW on Sci-Fi! There was no point in the entire show. You killed Sabu (or your setting up some horrible feud). There was no classic technical match (like Taz vs.
Candido from the old ECW).

Striker vs. Mahoney....NO POINT!
Turkey/Burke was a squash match. They used a big payoff PPV to set upDreamer/Khali...YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME???
Hardy Boyz (and I hate Jeff) were the best part of the night.
The Elimination Chamber was worthless. Why not take the belt off Big Show
on TV and have a good match on the PPV? Let Punk do what he did in Ring of
Honor and he'll get over or have white-heat. I guess RVD is having some real
heat backstage because Test bet him clean. Everyone could guess that Lashley
was going over. Don't get me wrong, Lashley has a great upside, but he is
much better suited for SmackDown.
So the top babyfaces are Lashley, RVD, Tommy Dreamer, CM Punk, Sabu,
and Sandman. Lashley won, RVD & Punk got buried clean, Dreamer is feuding
with Khali/Daivari (please Lord no) and Sabu & Sandman didn't wrestle
The top heels are Test, Khali, Mike Knox & Holly. Test is horrible wrestler,
Khali can't move, Mike Knox is green and has no gimmick/can't talk. Hardcore
Holly got buried and Big Show is taking time off. Who's booking this crap?
