December 16th: Matt Sydal reports that his knee is feeling better and as of now he'll be ready to go for December 22nd and 23rd. Hartford on 12/22 will see Sydal & Christopher Daniels defend the ROH World Tag Team Titles against the Dragon Gate team of CIMA & Shingo. 12/23 will see Dragon Gate Rules action with Sydal, CIMA & Shingo vs. Delirious, Austin Aries & Roderick Strong. CIMA is really looking forward to his return to ROH and he could leave a champion. There will be some interesting negotiations with ROH and Dragon Gate officials next week.

December 16th: The relationship between ROH and NOAH continues to grow. NOAH just announced that Jay & Mark Briscoe will make their first tour of NOAH in January. Nigel McGuinness will also return to NOAH in January. The Briscoes and McGuinness will not miss any ROH shows. This continues the talent trading between ROH and NOAH. ROH fans have been treated to Kenta Kobashi, Naomichi Marufuji, KENTA, Go Shiozaki and SUWA while ROH has been able to send Bryan Danielson and now The Briscoes to NOAH. You can expect this relationship to only grow in 2007.

 

December 16th: Roderick Strong retained the FIP Heavyweight Title last night in Crystal River, FL by defeating Steve Madison. Strong will defend the FIP Heavyweight Title again tonight in Invernes, FL against the winner of the Florida Rumble. This was a steel cage match with barbed wire and weapons that saw light tubes, 5000 thumbtacks, steel garbage cans, a table and more used in the bloody and violent battle that ended the eight month feud.
