December 18th: ROH is ready for its last shows of 2006 this Friday in Hartford, CT and this Saturday in Manhattan, NY. ROH has found a new home in Connecticut and it is a great location. No more out of the way buildings for ROH in Connecticut. The new building is located just minutes from downtown Hartford and a few blocks off I-91. Check
www.CTExpoCenter.com for directions. This is going to be a huge event so don't miss out!!! This Saturday is the end of the Road Of Homicide when he will walk out of the Manhattan Center no longer a member of the ROH roster or the ROH World Champion. Be warned that tickets are almost gone and we expect a sellout. Get tickets for both events now at
www.ROHwrestling.com or by calling 215-781-2500.
December 18th: One more match has been signed for this Saturday's event in Manhattan. Adam Pearce puts some of the blame on The Briscoes for the fact that Homicide was not eliminated. Manhattan will see The Briscoes vs. Adam Pearce & Shane Hagadorn!!!
December 18th: Roderick Strong retained the FIP Heavyweight Title against Steve Madison and Hallowicked last weekend in FIP. Now Strong is set to defend the belt against Davey Richards this Friday in Hartford. These two had an explosive altercation at Saturday's FIP event. Richards has been demanding a FIP Heavyweight Title shot from Strong since the moment Strong won the belt. Now the match will finally take place this Friday. These two have met once and the result was a 25 minute classic in FIP, now ROH will see the rematch!!! This match could be the show stealer of the entire weekend!!!
December 18th: Make sure to check the new ROH Video Wire now at
www.ROHvideos.com with Homicide as your host. The latest ROH Video Wire also has the complete Briscoes vs. Irish Airborne match from 12/8 in Chicago and more. You can watch it for FREE in several different formats at ROHvideos.com. You can also download it to your Ipod at Google Videos. There will be a new ROH Video Wire later this week.
December 18th: CIMA is set to return to ROH this weekend. He just won Best Technical Wrestler in the Japanese year end awards. You can expect to see CIMA in two state-of-the-art, athletic matches this weekend. On Friday in Hartford, CIMA will team with Shingo to challenge ROH World Tag Team Champions Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal. Shingo is already a part of the ROH roster and there are already plans for CIMA to return only if they win the titles. On Saturday it will be six man Dragon Gate action at its finest with CIMA, Shingo & Matt Sydal vs. Austin Aries, Roderick Strong & Delirious. If you saw the Dragon Gate six man tags at "Dragon Gate Challenge" and "Supercard Of Honor" you know what to expect here.
December 18th: Another reason why this weekend is so important is because ROH will take a five week break from live shows after "Final Battle 2006" before returning to action on 1/26 in the Boston area and 1/27 in Edison, NJ. This weekend in Hartford and NYC will be the entire rosters last chance to try to position themselves for a big 2007. There has to be a strong buzz going after this weekend to carry ROH to the final weekend of January. The first matches for Boston and Edison, including main events, will be announced after Christmas.
December 18th: The Colt Cabana/Lacey feud intensified in FIP when Lacey hit Cabana with a low blow to cost him a match against Larry Sweeney last Saturday. Lacey will not be in attendance this weekend, but is spending lots of money on opponents for Cabana, BJ Whitmer and Daizee Haze. Lacey wants to see these people injured and has hired Brent Albright and Mercedes Martinez to help Jimmy Jacobs.
December 18th: Just to get this out there about this Saturday in Manhattan, there will be absolutely no comps for this show. Unless you are booked on the show or have a ticket you will not be allowed in the building. Thank you for understanding.
