RING OF HONOR NEWSWIRE: CT PREVIEW, HOMICIDE-DANIELSON UPDATE, EDDIE EDWARDS DEBUTS AND MORE

December 19th: We have important late breaking news concerning this Saturday's World Title Match pitting Bryan Danielson vs. Homicide. We have learned that Homicide's shoulder injury has been re-aggravated and has been causing him immense pain. Danielson paid Brent Albright to injure the shoulder on the first night of "The Chicago Spectacular." Danielson is the wrong guy to have an injured shoulder against. Danielson's crossface chickenwing and cattle mutilation submissions both cause considerable pain to the shoulder. Homicide's shoulder has been a chronic sore point since 12/3/05 when he injured it in a match against Steve Corino. Homicide's shoulder injury caused him to lose the FIP Heavyweight Title to Danielson after an over one year reign at "Hell Freezes Over" last January. Homicide has stated that if he does not win the ROH World Title in his hometown of NYC this Saturday that he will quit ROH.

December 19th: You'll notice in the Hartford lineup that Eddie Edwards is set to make his ROH debut. Edwards looked great on the November NOAH tour that Bryan Danielson was on. ROH officials have high hopes for Edwards and he will get a chance to make a big splash as he takes on Austin Aries. If Edwards can defeat Aries he will immediately earn a roster spot.

December 19th: The feud pitting Jimmy Jacobs & Brent Albright vs. BJ Whitmer & Colt Cabana will explode in both Hartford and Connecticut. This is one of the deepest feuds in ROH. Friday will see Jacobs team with Lacey's paid assassin Mercedes Martinez in a mixed tag vs. BJ Whitmer & Daizee Haze. Whenever Jacobs and Whitmer are in the same match something insane happens. Lacey wants Martinez to take Haze out. Hartford will also see Cabana vs. Albright. The story behind this one is simple. Albright, now known as "The Gun For Hire" Brent Albright, took Lacey's payday to attack Cabana. Now Lacey has offered a bonus if he can finish the job. Manhattan will see a huge grudge tag team match with Whitmer & Cabana vs. Jacobs & Albright. Last time in Manhattan, Jacobs defeated Cabana after a low blow. Since that time Jacobs has refused Cabana's friendship and bloodied him. When you put these four in the same match with so many issues there is no telling what will happen. Hartford and Manhattan make this a huge weekend for ROH's hottest feud.
