RING OF HONOR ANNOUNCES DETAILS OF FIFTH YEAR FESTIVAL EVENTS

Ring of Honor issued the following press release on Saturday:
February will see ROH hit a new milestone when we all celebrate five years of ROH. There were many times when it didn't look like ROH would make it this far, but due to your support ROH is alive and stronger than ever. As a thank you for all your support, ROH will present six huge shows in a three week period that will be known as the Fifth Year Festival. Tickets for all these events are now on sale at www.ROHwrestling.com or by calling 215-781-2500.
The happenings of each Fifth Year Festival show will effect each card that follows. This may result in lineup changes (all advertised talent will appear regardless of card changes) or only a few matches announced for each event. We assure you that ROH has a goal to make the Fifth Year Festival the best series of shows in ROH history. If the Fifth Year Festival is coming to your city you can be sure that it will be a huge event. ROH is currently in negotiations for more big name talent for every show. Here is the current rundown of each Fifth Year Festival event:
February 16th, Manhattan, NY- The Grand Ballroom at the Manhattan Center is the place to be for the electric atmosphere. ROH has sold out both of its events in this building and NYC's reaction to the shows have made these two of the best cards in ROH history. ROH expects a third consecutive sellout so don't get shut out on tickets. Will Homicide make it back to his hometown with the belt? Already signed is:

February 17th, Philadelphia, PA- ROH could not hold a birthday party without returning to the place it all started- Philadelphia. It is always an event when ROH returns to Philly. ROH officials are currently trying to secure an international challenger for the World Title. This will truly be a card with worldwide interest. Last time in Philly, Samoa Joe sent a message to NOAH by slapping KENTA. Now KENTA's protégé Davey Richards will try to get revenge for his mentor. Already signed for Philly is:

February 23rd, Dayton, OH- ROH will return to one of its most loyal cities, Dayton, for a special night. This show will be five years from the exact date of the first ever ROH event. There has been a lot of history for ROH in Dayton including emotional title changes like James Gibson winning the World Title, brutal feuds coming to an end like BJ Whitmer vs. Necro Butcher, legendary matches like the first Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk one hour draw and special guests like Matt Hardy, Mick Foley, Ricky Steamboat and Jim Cornette. The tradition will continue in Dayton when ROH returns for the Fifth Year Festival. While no matches have been announced yet, ROH promises to bring you only the best bouts possible. February 24th, Chicago, IL- You can't talk about ROH history without mentioning the importance of Chicago. There have been so many great ROH events in the Chicago area and it will continue with the Fifth Year Festival on February 24th. This time, ROH will be in a new building. ROH will travel to the other side of town as it presents its first show at the Windy City Fieldhouse. All the talent that is announced above for Dayton will also be in Chicago. ROH will be pulling out all the stops for its debut in the Windy City Fieldhouse.
March 3rd & 4th, Liverpool, UK- One of the true successes in ROH's history was the first tour of the UK last August. The company that started out in front of 400 people at a local rec center in South Philly went international to Liverpool for an event that drew well over 1000 rabid fans and a sold out show in Broxbourne. Now thanks to all the support of the UK fans on the first tour, ROH will be returning to Liverpool for two consecutive shows in one weekend. ROH will have even more regulars on this tour.
