June 25th: Austin Aries is back to stay in ROH!!! Aries has signed his ROH contract and will be on every show after ROH's tour of Japan. Aries has made it clear that he is after the No Remorse Corps of Roderick Strong, Davey Richards & Rocky Romero. The Resilience now have their leader back and faction warfare is back on ROH!!!
June 25th: Aries wasn't the only one to sign a ROH contract over the weekend. Chris Hero has officially signed with ROH after an intense negotiation by his super agent Larry Sweeney. It was a busy weekend for Sweeney who has also signed Matt Sydal over the weekend to a contract with Sweeney's Sweet & Sour Incorporated. Sweeney made sure ROH officials met all his demands when it came to Hero.

June 25th: We will have information on the new building for the 7/27 event in Long Island ASAP as Sports Plus is closing down at the end of this month. The 7/27 event will still be in Long Island and tickets that have already been purchased will be honored. This will be the first night of the "Race To The Top" one weekend, 16 man single elimination tournament. Long Island will see the eight first round matches while the three remaining rounds will take place on 7/28 in Edison, NJ. It was announced last week that Chris Hero with Larry Sweeney, Kevin Steen, El Generico, Davey Richards and Mike Quackenbush will be in the tourney to determine the next main event star. Claudio Castagnoli, BJ Whitmer and Delirious have been signed to compete in the "Race To The Top" one weekend tournament. June 25th: In a shocker in Dayton last Friday, ROH World Champion Takeshi Morishima was pinned by Nigel McGuinness in a tag bout after McGuinness hit a flurry of lariats ending in the Jawbreaker Lariat. This was the first time Morishima was pinned in a ROH ring. McGuinness will earn a future ROH World Title shot as a result. The location could be announced at any moment.
