However, something happened that they did not expect. The fans showed their respect by thanking them for their performance with their ovation. That gave him the strength to get on his feet and come out again.

Unfinished Business 2007 Thoughts:
This DVD runs approximately two hours and fifty minutes.
The sound on the promos was a lot better than it was for New Year’s Classic 2007, but it probably had to do with the building. It seemed like there was a bit of an echo during the promos.
I like the way that Dave and Lenny push the upcoming DVD releases in their commentary. They did a good job of pushing the debuts of Necro Butcher and Mad Man Pondo for the February shows. They also do a great job of providing new fans with some history about the company in their commentary.
I wish they would have included the Jake Roberts material, but with what happened in February, I can understand the decision to take the footage out. It is a shame that they had to take out the promos because it was a great old school series of promos between Larry and Jake.
This show continued the run of solid shows in Crystal River with great crowds in terms of size and intensity. They were into the entire show, and it peaked when Jake Roberts came out. While there are some fans who are familiar with the Ring of Honor talent and most of the Florida guys, this is a crowd that follows the WWF/WWE.
I liked the Sweeney/Castagnoli match except for the double count out finish. Both men were able to get the crowd into the show because of their charisma in the ring.
With Dave Prazak’s involvement in the company, it looks like a number of SHIMMER wrestlers are going to be involved in the show. With quality women’s wrestling on the show, it will only benefit the company.
Over the last few months, a number of wrestlers have stepped up with their promo skills. While I mentioned before how much Chasyn Rance has improved, Joey Machete is another person who has improved on the mic.
Sean Davis cut another great promo to follow up on the promo he cut on Friday night in Inverness. I don’t know if this means that the Heartbreak Express are going to turn face, but it was a good way for them to thank the fans in Crystal River who were at the Cage of Pain show.
I was a little surprised by Gran Akuma’s victory over Jack Evans, but it does a lot to help Akuma get over with the crowd and realize that he is someone to take a look at. Akuma has been impressive during his time in FIP.
Jimmy Jacobs’s debut with the company appeared to be successful since he was over with the fans, and he had two good matches this weekend.
With the way that the YRR and DP Associates have dominated in FIP, I was a little surprised that Black Market was able to win their ‘four on two’ match.
The TLC Match was good between Rinauro and Delay. Both men gave everything in the ring and it was a great end to the feud. I was a little disappointed by the finish of this match because I did not think there needed to be interference.
Steve Madison and Erick Stevens have been feuding in FIP for almost an entire year, and the Dog Collar Match was a great end to their feud in the company. The only person I have seen bleed as much as Erick in this match was Sean Davis. I was a little surprised that Lenny Leonard said that this was the most violent match in FIP history when they had the Cage of Pain Match the month before.
