How this works:

Each Match will be rated in four different categories.  Each category will be worth a total of 1.00 with the exception of “Special” which will be worth 2.00, thus each match will be worth five dollars total.  If at the end of the card it doesn’t add up between 35 and 40 dollars for WWE events or 25 and 30 dollars for TNA events, then it isn’t worth it for you to order the PPV.  And now WWE Unforgiven…

Undertaker vs. Mark Henry

Wrestling: .75

Charisma:  .75

Angle Depth:  1.00

Special: 1.75

Comments: This is Undertaker’s return to the ring and he is going against the guy who put him out of the squared circle; M ark Henry.  M ark is a monster and a much better wrestler than people give him credit for.  His character has been a bit minimalist as of late but he still got the match over without much help from the Undertaker.  However, the promos for this match, and more importantly the deadman’s return, have been quite possibly the best promo’s and vignettes the WWE has ever produced.  Basically making a movie short out of the undertaker returning from the “dead”.  This match is going to be good and Henry will sell his end of the deal.  I don’t expect Undertaker to win here, I think this feud is going to carry on for a few months and I think Henry will take this one.  However, though Taker will lose, he is going to get some “after the match retribution” if you know what I mean.

John Cena vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship)

Wrestling: 1.00

Charisma:  .75

Angle Depth:  1.00

Special: 1.00

Comments: This should be as good or better than their match at SummerSlam and looking at the rest of the card it seems this match will be the best of the show.  It should be the best as it is the Main Event.  Orton wins.

Total: $3.75

Rey M ysterio vs. Batista vs. The Great Khali (Triple Threat World Championship)

Wrestling: .25

Charisma:  .50

Angle Depth:  .25

Special: .75

Comments: This match is going to be a train wreck.  Khali can’t perform, Batista just doesn’t seem to care and with that going on Rey won’t have any maneuverability to save this match.  Batista wins…and if there is an Angel looking over the fans shoulder of WWE, after the match Batista turns heel and we get a M ysterio-Big Dave feud that concludes around Survivor Series.

Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix (Women’s Championship)

Wrestling: .75

Charisma:  .75

Angle Depth:  .75

Special: .75

Comments: Beth Phoenix is going to dominate this match completely and it is going to be a quick one.  They are making Beth to be like Chyna with a personality.  If they let Candice have any offense I’d be surprised but if by chance they do, it will be a heck of a bout.

Kendrick and London vs. Cade and Murdoch (World Tag Team Championship)

Wrestling: .1.00

Charisma:  .75

Angle Depth:  .50

Special: .50

Comments: This one would have had a lot more heat if Cryme Tyme hadn’t been let go by WWE.  That feud was really lighting up at the time.  However, London and Kendrick have really come into the feud well and are more than fair replacements.  Wrestling wise, this could be the best match on the show if it is given any time to breathe at all.  Cade and M urdoch will retain by DQ.

Deuce and Domino vs. Matt Hardy and MVP (WWE Tag Team Championship)

Wrestling: .75

Charisma:  1.00

Angle Depth:  1.00

Special: 1.75

Comments: This one is all about furthering the US title feud.  M VP and Hardy will get their wires crossed and lose the tag straps to big D and D.  I wonder if maybe this will turn into a segment where Teddy Long comes out and makes an instant US title match?  The reason for so much cash being given to the special category is because of the tremendous feud.  It has been off the charts and can only get bigger, brighter and better.  The feud itself has been “Half-feud, Half-amazing”!

HHH vs. Carlito

Wrestling: 1.00

Charisma:  1.00

Angle Depth:  .50

Special: 1.00

Comments: This one doesn’t really impress me and that is because Carlito doesn’t impress me.  As of late Carlito has been just so-so both in the ring and on the mic.  The angle has been pretty weak as well.  Personally I would have somehow maneuvered HHH into the Smackdown main event and did that as a four way and given Carlito a IC title match with Jeff Hardy.  In the end HHH wins.

CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke (ECW Championship)

Wrestling: .75

Charisma:  .25

Angle Depth:  .50

Special: .25

Comments: These two will have a good bout as they always do.  This bout is about Punk holding the title till Morrison comes back.  There is nothing we haven’t seen before here.  In fact we have seen this bout at least 10 times in one form or another on ECW for free.  Why pay for it?

ENTIRE PPV TOTAL:  $25.25

The Verdict: 

Don’t buy this PPV.  It is just not going to be worth it.  My guess is that though their may be some title changes they aren’t gonna be all that we want them to be.  If you are an Undertaker fan then I guess this is a must have for your collection – and you know what?  Wait for it on DVD.
