THE WRINGER REVIEW COVERS A “SWEEPING” RAW – NOVEMBER 6, 2007

By Michael LeBlanc on 11/6/2007 9:19 AM

I noticed that Triple H was throwing out DX light sticks as he walked to the ring.  Problem was, the sticks are meant to be used in pairs, to form an “X”, so what the heck good was one stick good for (he wasn’t throwing out a pair of two taped together)?!

How funny was Hunter pulling out the run-sheet for the show?

They actually put the Boogeyman in a DX segment?  Did they add Boogeyman to DX for the night out of fear he’d “worm them”, or because they thought he was cool?

Again, did they add Khali to DX out of fear, respect, or because they thought he was cool?

The creative team, Katie Vick, and the writer’s strike, all referenced within about ten seconds of each other?!  I have to admit, I popped hard!

I was worried when I saw Kelly Kelly was going to be in an actual match with Beth Phoenix.  Thank goodness it was a twenty second squash match!

Boy, did Scott Wiper look like he really didn’t want to be there?  Either that, or he was pissed that his movie was being crapped on?

Why would Austin give Santino a copy of the movie, since he’s already watched it, and hated it?

How did the first row or two feel about getting an unintentional beer bath, along with Santino?

Umm, was Austin really thinking when he aimed the beer hose up towards the lights?!

 So now Vince loves Hornswoggle?

Since when does Horny live by the “size doesn’t matter” credo?

“Put your hands back on the table!”

So, a Diva wishing you good luck lowers your focus?

What a fantastic tribute video…for a fantastic lady.

Did anyone notice that the graphic for Jamie Kennedy noted that he was the star of the “Jamie Kennedy Show” – a show that’s been out of production for three and a half years?!

MISCELLANEOUS THOUGHTS

I was saddened to hear about the recent passing of Lillian “Fabulous Moolah” Ellison.  From all accounts, she was a very nice, decent lady, as well as being a great athlete and wrestler.  She was a true legend, and absolutely deserved her spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.  She will be greatly missed, and my deepest sympathies go out to her family and  friends.
