TNAlt #4 - Sunday, November 11
Final show ahead of November's PPV - (available this coming Wednesday, November 14
Location: Orlando, FL
Announce team: Jeremy Borash & Kevin Nash

The show starts with Kevin Nash welcoming us to the show and throwing it immediately to Jeremy Borash, who is in the ring along with TNA World Heavyweight Champion Sting, and the new #1 contender, Robert Roode. The ring is covered with a black canvas, with Sting's World Title sat upon a fetching chrome and glass presentation cabinet. They are joined by Ms. Brooks, as well as representatives of both wrestlers, with all sat down at a long table stretching the width of the ring. Borash is sat in the middle, with Sting and Roode either side, and informs us that this is the official contract signing for this Wednesday's title match on PPV. He then introduces the new #1 contender, Robert Roode:

"Whether you like me, or whether you hate me, can't deny what I have achieved so far," says Roode. "I am the best young heavyweight wrestler this industry has to offer. Since cementing my place in this world title match, I have studied tapes of Sting, 24/7. I've watched all of his matches since he came into TNA, and I watched matches of him from when he still had it." Sting smirks, as if to resist Roode's attempts to make him bite, as he continues, "This Wednesday night, Robert Roode will go into the PPV as the challenger, and walk out of the PPV as your new TNA World Heavyweight Champion."

Kevin Nash comments that Roode certainly isn't lacking in confidence, and that some could see that as arrogance, as Jeremy Borash introduces Sting:

"For more years than I care to imagine, Robert Roode, I have been at the top of this industry. You say I don't "have it" anymore? You think I can't go anymore? There's a reason why it's ME - not you - who is the current World Heavyweight Champion. I've dedicated myself to TNA, just like I dedicated myself to WCW in the past. I'm not about trying to create controversy, or trying to run other people down. I'm all about the wrestling, Roode. So you can study all the tapes of me you want. But as long as you continue to try and run your mouth rather than make your actions speak louder than words, you'll NEVER earn the respect of your peers in this industry..." Roode stands up and goes nose-to-nose with Sting, as the champion adds, "...and you just like you don't have that respect, this Wednesday night, when it's all said and done, you STILL won't have MY World Heavyweight Title."

Sting puts his mic down, and Sting and Roode stare at each other, face-to-face, as Jeremy Borash reminds us that this Wednesday night it will be Sting defending his TNA World Heavyweight Title against Robert Roode, only on PPV. The segment comes to a close with Sting and Roode both trash talking off-mic, as we cut to a video package showing how this match came about.

Backstage, Mike Tenay is with Voodoo Kin Mafia, who Tenay says have something they want to get off their chest. BG James grabs the mic off him, and says, "You're damn right, Tenay. Motor City Machine Guns, we'll keep this real quick, and straight to the point. You think you can beat us this Wednesday night? How stupid are you two lightweights? Do you know who VKM are? Do you know what we've achieved in this business? Tonight, we'll show you exactly what we're going to do with you on Wednesday night. We've asked management for a couple of flip-floppers to beat in a warm-up match. Watch and learn, kids."

Triple X (Christopher Daniels & Elix Skipper w/Senshi) vs. Voodoo Kin Mafia

After both teams make their entrances, Kip James and Elix Skipper start the match, with Kip playfully slapping Skipper’s head and mocking his size. They go into a comedy spot where Kip holds Skipper by the top of the head as Skipper swings punches that don’t reach his opponent. Kip then pie faces Skipper down then walks back to his corner. Both members of VKM start to laugh, as Kevin Nash says that it looks like VKM are taking their opponents lightly.

Senshi is sat outside the ring throughout the match, with both arms folded. He's not moved since the start of the match and has spent most of it staring down at the ground rather than actually watching the match.  Borash and Nash speculate that he’s upset that XXX decided to put the other two guys in this match when Skipper and Senshi have been the regular tag team of the stable for quite some time.

Daniels gets in the ring and slaps Kip in the face and takes him down with a side headlock. They run the ropes, Daniels hip tosses Kip down and he scurries away to the corner where he tags out to BG James, who enters the match for the first time and slows things down. He and Skipper lock up, and after Skipper shoots BG into the ropes and does a leap frog, BG pokes him in the eyes and the heels take over.

They work over Skipper for a few minutes as we head into a commercial break. We return from the break to see LAX and The Latino Nation in the crowd walking towards the ring to be met by security.  The Latino Nation and security get into a brawl in the crowd, trading punches back and forth and causing huge amounts of chaos in the crowd, with chairs being thrown around as well. With everyone’s eyes on the brawl in the crowd, which goes on for several minutes, Kurt Angle is able to evade security by coming in via the other side of the ring. With the referee distracted by the chaos in the crowd, Angle hits Daniels with the Olympic Slam, before VKM give Daniels a spike piledriver then make the cover on Daniels for the win. Winners at 11:32 - Voodoo Kin Mafia

After the match, Kip James lays out Elix Skipper with a Fameasser onto a chair before VKM leave and head to the back. Kurt Angle remains at ringside. He grabs a mic and asks Daniels, "So let me get this right, Daniels. This Wednesday night, you think you can beat me? You can't even beat two washed-up, past their prime 45-year olds! How the hell do you expect to last ten seconds in the ring with the best wrestler of all time, Kurt Angle?"

With Daniels still on the floor, Angle slaps him and kicks him in the head twice before locking on the ankle lock.  Daniels is shown screaming in pain until Senshi gets into the ring to make the save. As he climbs through the ropes, Angle backs off and leaves.  Senshi helps Daniels to his feet, but Daniels shoves Senshi away. Kevin Nash calls Daniels ungrateful, while Borash questions why Senshi didn’t make the save after the slap or the kicks, instead choosing to wait so long until Daniels was near-crippled.

We head backstage, where Crystal is with Jim Cornette and The Motor City Machine Guns. Cornette is full of steam, and looks ready to blow. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley calm him down and tell him to take it easy. Sabin takes over and says, "VKM, you call THAT tag team wrestling? That's what you guys need to win a match? Fights in the crowd, a distracted referee, Kurt Angle running in to help you both? This Wednesday, there will be none of that." Shelley adds, "That's right. This Wednesday, it's just you and us in the ring! No fights in the crowd, no run-ins, no nothing! Just the Motor City Machine Guns proving WE are the future of tag team wrestling and that you two were the past."

We return to ringside where Jeremy Borash and Kevin Nash discuss the situation with James Storm, as clips of him losing in under a minute to Eric Young two weeks ago while clearly drunk are shown. Borash calls the situation sad, saying that nobody has spoken to Storm for two weeks, and that he wasn't even at the arena until shortly before the show went on the air.

Rhino vs. James Storm

After Rhino makes his way to the ring, a stumbling James Storm slowly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring, obviously drunk yet again. Kevin Nash repeats Borash's words from earlier on, calling the situation sad and saying he can relate to Storm's demons as he's been there with close friends in the past.

The match eventually gets underway, with Storm barely able to stand on his feet. He holds onto the ropes as he walks slowly around the ring, with Rhino looking unsure as to what he should do. After Storm completes a circuit of the ring, he takes his hands off the rope, smiling and looking like he's achieved something. He turns around to walk into the centre of the ring but is hit with a massive gore by Rhino, who clearly had lost his patience with Storm. Winner at 1:32 - Rhino

After the match, Rhino makes his way to the back, while Storm remains in the ring, struggling to get to his feet. Chris Harris appears near the entrance way, looking sympathetic towards his former tag team partner. He makes his way down the aisle to meet the stumbling Storm, but as he tries to talk to him Storm pushes him away and shoves him onto the floor before leaving.

We cut to a video showing the moon at night. We quickly learn that this is a continuation of similar videos we have seen over the past couple of weeks as the camera zooms out to reveal we're in the same darkened room of a trailer we saw last week. The camera slowly pans the room, stopping at a wall. A light is switched on revealing the words "fear, terror, destruction" written on the wall.

We return to ringside where Jeremy Borash and Kevin Nash discuss the videos that have aired in recent weeks and what significance they may have, speculating on whether it is somebody from the past, or somebody who nobody knows anything about. Jeremy Borash turns his attention to Samoa Joe, who he says has been in a bad mood all day backstage in Orlando, with sources telling him throughout the day that Joe is said to be frustrated with TNA management for not booking him for next Wednesday's PPV. As Borash finishes discussing the situation, our next match is on the way.

Samoa Joe vs. Petey Williams

Borash notes that Joe is 3-0 in recent weeks and has looked unstoppable as the match gets underway with Joe in control from the opening bell. They discuss Joe's impressive win last week over Junior Fatu as Petey Williams tries to get back into the match after ducking a clothesline and hitting a dropkick on Joe. Williams hits Joe with an elbow drop from the second rope and gets a two count. He tries to follow it up with a sharpshooter attempt but is unable to turn Joe over. Joe gets back to his feet and hits Williams with an overhead belly-to-belly and follows it up with a stiff lariat before picking him up and hitting him with the muscle buster. Winner at 4:32 - Samoa Joe

After the match, Joe grabs a mic from ringside, looks towards the camera and says, "This Wednesday night, I'll be right here in Orlando for the PPV. Problem is I don't have a match. Whether you're in the back. Here in the crowd. Or sat at home watching on TV. You've spent the last few weeks watching Samoa Joe beat everybody put in front of him. This Wednesday night, I'm issuing an open challenge. So whether you're sat in the back, sat in the crowd, or sat at home right now watching...I don't care who you are...come along this Wednesday night to find out that I am Samoa Joe. I am pro wrestling. And nobody can stop me."

A video package showing highlights of last week's six man tag team match between The Steiners and Ron Killings vs. Christian Cage, AJ Styles and Tomko airs before we cut to Mike Tenay, who is backstage with Ron Killings. Tenay asks for Killings' thoughts ahead of his upcoming match, as we learn that Killings will face one half of the tag team champions, Tomko, later on tonight's show. Killings tells us that he's out to prove that pinning Tomko on last week's show was no fluke, and that he'll do the same again tonight. "Then, on Wednesday night," he adds, "I'll show the whole world exactly what I'm capable of, when I climb that ladder and beat Christian Cage at his own game."

HOUR TWO

Gail Kim & Christy Hemme vs. Talia Madison & Angel Williams

After all four women make separate entrances, it’s clear that there is dissension within both teams. Kevin Nash speculates as to how Talia and Angel can get along when both want to be the Knockout Champion at Genesis, also questioning whether Christy can team up with Gail and be a supportive partner when she wasn’t even given a title shot.

The match gets underway as Christy takes Talia down with a couple of arm drags to start before tagging Gail Kim in almost disdainfully, as if to say “look, I can wrestle too, but you’ll not put the belt on the line against me will you?”  Gail Kim gets in the ring and quickly is able to dominate both her opponents, leading to her hitting a top rope dropkick on Talia. With her partner down, Angel Williams interrupts the pinfall with a hard knee drop to Gail’s head, and then gets into an argument with the referee.

With the official occupied, Amazing Kong makes her way down the aisle to ringside, and slams Christy head first into the ring post twice, leaving her laid out cold on the outside. On commentary, Jeremy Borash says that its Kong lack of respect for her competition that forced TNA management to make a decision to look elsewhere for Wednesday’s title match.

Kong's interference leaves Gail Kim at a 1-on-2 disadvantage as an unconscious Hemme is taken out on a stretcher. Both Talia and Angel take it in turns to hit moves on Gail, almost as if they’re deliberately trying to top their partner in order to put in the more impressive showing ahead of the PPV. Eventually, both women head up to the top rope attempting to hit Kim with a double splash, but she moves at the last second leaving Talia and Angel crashing to the mat.  When they get to their feet, Angel and Talia get into a shoving match, enabling Gail to push Talia into Angel, sending Angel crashing to the outside. Gail rolls up Talia and gets the pin.  Winners at 4:48 - Gail Kim and Christy Hemme

After the match, Talia and Angel continue their shoving and arguing all the way to the back while Gail stands on the middle rope, belt in hand, taunting both her opponents ahead of Wednesday's PPV.

A promotional video with Don West's 'Deal of the Day' airs.

Ron Killings vs. Tomko

The match gets underway after the closing moments of last week's six man tag are shown, with Killings getting the pin on Tomko. Jeremy Borash points out that Killings has a tough few days ahead of him, and that if he gets through this match tonight, he'll be flying out to Japan along with several other wrestlers from the company and will be flying back to the United States with just hours to spare before his ladder match with Christian Cage at the PPV.

Tomko dominates the match early with a series of power moves that keep Killings off his feet. We past the four minute mark as Tomko tries to hit Killings with a power slam, but Killings slides down Tomko's back, lands on his feet, and hits a dropkick that sends Tomko through the ropes to the outside. Killings then climbs to the top rope and hits a cross body to the outside, which gets a big reaction from the crowd.

After a commercial break, we return with the action back in the ring as Killings hits a leg drop from the second rope. He makes the cover but Tomko kicks out. With both men back on their feet, Tomko whips Killings into the ropes. Killings ducks a clothesline once, then twice, and after the second attempt by Tomko, Killings spins around and hits him with an enzuigiri. Again Tomko kicks out of a pinfall attempt. They go back and forth with punches and forearms before Tomko appears to be back in control. He attempts a power bomb but can't execute it after Killings lays into him with punches. Tomko then tries to hit Killings with a big boot, but Killings ducks it and kicks Tomko in the midsection. Killings tries to hit his axe kick but Tomko ducks out of the way of that as well. Tomko attempts a big boot for a second time, but Killings again avoids it. His momentum takes him into the ropes and he leaps off them to hit Tomko with a flying forearm which connects and sends Tomko crashing into the referee.

With the referee down, the cavalry hit the ring. AJ Styles and Christian Cage join Tomko in the ring, with AJ hitting Killings with a chair, then Christian Cage hitting him with an Unprettier. AJ helps to bring the referee back around as Tomko covers Killings. The referee makes the count, and Tomko gets the win. Winner at 14:59 - Tomko

Jeremy Borash is disgusted by what he is seeing, saying that Tomko couldn't get the job done by himself, and that it's taken three people to beat Killings tonight. Cage and Styles return to the ring to further attack Killings, only for The Steiner Brothers to hit the ring to make the save. Styles, Tomko and Cage all leave the ring and head straight up the ramp to the back. The Steiners check on Killings, then make their own way to the back as Killings leaves on his own, holding his ribs, as Kevin Nash questions whether Killings can recover from tonight's beating to wrestle in Japan and then on PPV in a ladder match in just a few days from now.

A video package for Wednesday's PPV airs before we return to ringside where Jeremy Borash and Kevin Nash run through the full card for Wednesday night's PPV, which is as follows:

Borash turns the conversation to the situation regarding the TNA Knockouts Title but is interrupted by Ms. Brooks, who makes her way to the announce table. She puts on a headset and tells Borash and Nash that Robert Roode has instructed her to come out and inform us that since Sting had a warm-up match on last week's show, he has decided to have a warm-up match of his own tonight. Ms. Brooks, who seems less than comfortable mentioning Roode's name, says that Roode told her he has arranged a match against somebody of Sting's calibre. Borash asks who it is, to which Brooks replies, "Robert's opponent is a major player...somebody who was at the same level as Sting back when he (Sting) was a "real star" (making quotation marks as she says that) back in WCW." Nash half-jokingly questions whether he has been booked for a match, to which Borash fires back with "Well at least you wouldn't have to worry about making the walk from the back to the ring from here." Ms. Brooks says that she has said all she can say, but that the match will take place later tonight.

As Brooks makes her way to the back, Borash turns the attention back to the TNA Knockouts Title situation, and says that Leticia Cline is waiting backstage with the current TNA Knockouts champion, Gail Kim. As they cut to the back, Nash questions Borash on what he meant by his earlier comment.

We cut backstage to the women's locker room area, with Leticia stood outside the dressing room door preparing to interview Gail Kim. Before she can knock on the door, Leticia screams as she sees an angry Awesome Kong approaching her. Kong grabs the mic out of Leticia's hand, shoving her into a wall in the process. Kong looks into the camera and screams, "Kim. You're mine!" before picking up Leticia and hitting her with a clothesline on the concrete floor. She picks her back up and carries her through a nearby door leading outside to the rear of the building. She momentarily puts Leticia down before picking her back up for a power bomb, sending her crashing onto a car and leaving her laid out cold. Kong pauses to think about what she has done, then smirks as she whispers "Kim. You're mine." Kong leaves, as medics and officials rush to the scene, calling for an ambulance.

We return to ringside where Borash and Nash discuss what has just happened. Nash questions whether we'll ever see Leticia again as Borash speculates as to what Awesome Kong will do next and whether she'll be at the PPV this Wednesday, despite not being involved in the title match.

We stay at ringside where Borash and Nash are joined by Jay Lethal and Miss Valerie, live via satellite this week. Lethal is shown in his home, limping as he makes his way to sit down and start the interview. Borash asks how his recovery is coming along, to which Lethal says he hopes to return to the ring in a couple of weeks. Nash asks for his thoughts on Kurt Angle, to which Lethal asks Miss Valerie to pass him a nearby CD. The CD is Randy Savage's Be a Man CD, which Lethal holds up and says that it's time for Kurt to be a man, adding that if Christopher Daniels doesn't take him out on Wednesday night, Angle better be ready for the return of Black Machismo, as Lethal is out to revenge and will do what Angle failed to do properly: take him out for good.

A replay of Samoa Joe's open challenge from earlier in the show airs. Borash and Nash speculate as to who will answer the challenge before Robert Roode's music plays, and we're ready for our next match.

Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks) vs. ?

Both Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks make their way to the ring as Jeremy Borash and Kevin Nash discuss how talk there’s a buzz in the building as people want to know which big star Roode could possibly have got as a warm-up for Wednesday night's World Heavyweight Title match with Sting.  In the ring, Roode gets on the mic and says that this Wednesday, he’ll be realizing a lifelong dream, and to prepare himself to put a former legend out to pasture, he needs to warm-up with some top competition.

Roode says his opponent, "was a former champion during the glory days of the Monday Night Wars...a man so popular, his trademark mannerisms were repeated by fans across the country" which leads to the crowd chanting "RVD, RVD". Roode continues, "This is a man who has experience of fighting all over the world. So let's get him out here."

The lights go out, with the arena in darkness save for a spotlight on the entrance ramp. After several seconds, former WCW wrestler Norman Smiley makes his way out, doing the Big Wiggle all the way down the ramp to the ring. Jeremy Borash calls this whole thing arrogant and disrespectful, saying Smiley is not major competition or in any way comparable to Sting, going so far as to call him a comedy joke at best and adding that a more famous comedy joke was destroyed by Samoa Joe a few weeks ago.

The match starts with Smiley still Big Wiggling around the ring before Roode destroys him with a lariat. He follows it up with a belly to belly suplex and then hits The Payoff before making the cover and getting the pinfall win. Winner at 1:39 - Robert Roode

With Roode celebrating his win in the ring, Borash says that what we've just witnessed is no way to properly prepare for the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Sting, in the biggest match of Roode’s life. Nash counters by saying despite what we've just seen, Roode’s strength, power and youth might be too much for the Stinger to handle. As he says this, Sting appears at the top of the entrance way. He looks down at Roode in the ring, and then holds his TNA title above his head as we fade into a video package to push Wednesday's PPV one final time.
